SWATARA TOWNSHIP BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS 8TH ANNUAL NIGHT OF APPRECIATION
11/18/2006 - The Swatara Township Board of Commissioners held for all public services an appreciation dinner at the Spring Garden Reception and Conference Center in Lower Swatara Township. The dinner was for the fire, ems, police, fire police, emergency management, and public works employees that serve the residents of Swatara Township. Commissioner Spandler and Fire Marshall/Chief Robinson presented each fire company with a certificate honoring the member that attended the most fire calls and attended the most trainings in the past year. Lawnton Fire Company would like to congradulate all the winners from each company and especially our 1st Assistant Chief/President Al Stuckey for the most fire calls and Captain/Treasurer Joe Craig for the most hours of training for Lawnton. After the dinner, members from the 44,45,and 40 House (Derry Street Express) decided to go out to Rock-N-Bowl at ABC East. Despite some low scores, and some members falling down on the lane, a good time was had by all. Lawnton Fire Company would especially like to thank the 40 BOYZ for standing by in their house for us while we enjoyed our fun-filled night. Thank you to the Swatara Township Board of Commissioners for our 8th Annual Night of Appreciation!
