FEMA has added the follwing training, required by Emergency Responders.  All Members must complete the following online training.  All training must be completed by AUGUST 2010.

MVA ON INTERSTATE 83 NORTH

Tue, Feb 16th, 2010 5:15:00 pm - Company 49 and Rescue 44 were dispatched for an MVA with injuries on Interstate 83 Northbound at mile stick 46.9 (right at the on ramp from the Ike).  Advanatge EMS was on the scene first and reported 2 injuries with one complaining of chest pains.  

Rescue 44 arrived on the scene and AC Radosevic checked on injuries with EMS and then assumed the role of Safety and Operations, LT McClurg assisted with traffic and DC Powers had command.  Rescue 49 arrived along with Swatara EMS and everyone assisted Swatara EMS as needed.  2 patients transported to local hospital.

Units cleared the scene in about 25 minutes.
