Tue, Jul 20th, 2010 12:36:00 pm - Company 456, Rescue 44 and 49 were dispatched to Penhar and Old Paxton Street for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.  EMS Chief 5A (Christenson) arrived on scene to advise she had a single vehicle with a male heavily entrapped.  Chief 456-2 (Faleshock) arrived and took command.  Rescue 49 arrived and began to crib the vehicle, set up their tools and pulled a hand line.  Engine 456 arrived and also pulled a hand line.

Crews worked well together and patient was extricated in 18 minutes.  Swatara EMS transported patient to a local hospital.  Units cleaned up and scene was secured by Swatara PD for their investigation.   Thank you to Asst Chief John Reed and FF Sean Harp for their help and pictures while on the scene.
